At Sharon Church we want to develop Christ-centered kids who know and share the love of Jesus. As a result, we partner with parents by providing resources and creating environments which help build a foundation in our kids’ lives, which only comes through knowing Jesus. For more information regarding our children’s ministry, email Allison Turner, and join us on Facebook at SCKids.
Small Groups- Sunday 9:45
Small groups begin in the Warehouse, located on the upper level of the church, during the 9:45 hour (only when Henry County schools are in session). After meeting briefly as a whole group, the children are separated by grade groups: (1st-3rd grades) (4th-5th grades). In their small groups, they talk, share, build friendships, and learn about Christ by dedicated, loving teachers.
Large Group- Sunday 11:00
During the 11 am service time, children meet in the Warehouse for a large group meeting (when Henry County schools are in session). Each Sunday is different, but includes a mixture of discussion time, worship through music led by our Kid's Worship Team, an age-appropriate Bible lesson with related videos and scripture, and FUN activities where your child can get to know and spend time with friends.
When Henry County Schools are not in session we do not have small groups and we have a family service. Your children will join you for worship in the auditorium. Activity bags are provided at the entrances for your child during our family services.
Kid's Worship Team
Children in 1st-5th grade are invited to join the Kid's Worship Team! The Kid's Worship Team leads the other children in song and motions during the music portion of our Large Group time at 11:00. They practice Wednesday Nights from 6:15-7:00 in room B208. We would love to have you be a part of the team!
On Wednesday nights, children meet in Room A201 just through the Warehouse for a large group meeting. During this time, the children play games, meet and visit with friends, participate in a Bible lesson with scripture and a discussion time.
