The Local Outreach Team leads and organizes opportunities for Sharon Church to serve and build relationships within our local community. This team coordinates efforts to show appreciation to teachers and school staff through breakfasts and special events, provides encouragement and connection through visits to local nursing homes, and supports children and families through our Backpack Buddies ministry. Through these practical acts of service and kindness, the team helps Sharon Church demonstrate the love of Christ and build meaningful relationships throughout our community.

The Hospitality Team focuses on creating a warm, friendly, and welcoming environment where every person feels noticed, valued, and genuinely welcomed. Through intentional hospitality and personal connection, the team helps create an atmosphere where guests and members feel comfortable, cared for, and at home within the Sharon Church family.

The Security Team exists to help ensure that everyone who attends Sharon Church can worship, serve, and participate in church life in a safe and secure environment. The team is prepared, present, and helpful, providing a visible and reassuring presence while remaining attentive to the needs of the church family. Through training, awareness, and a commitment to serving others, the Security Team works to protect people, respond appropriately to potential concerns, and help create an environment where everyone can feel safe and welcome.

The Service Team provides practical assistance in the care, maintenance, and stewardship of the facilities and resources the Lord has entrusted to Sharon Church. This team helps ensure that our buildings and grounds are well maintained, safe, functional, and welcoming for everyone who worships, serves, and participates in the life of our church.

The Service Team also extends that spirit of service beyond the church campus by assisting elderly members, widows, and others within our church family who may need help with maintenance or practical needs in their homes. Through willing hands and servant hearts, this team demonstrates Christ’s love by caring for both the facilities God has provided and the people He has entrusted to our care.

The Prayer and Communion Team helps create opportunities for the church family to intentionally seek the Lord through prayer and remember the sacrifice of Jesus Christ through Communion. This team coordinates the acquisition and preparation of Communion supplies and schedules and facilitates meaningful times of Communion throughout the year.

The team provides a consistent prayer presence throughout Sharon Church by conducting prayer walks around the church campus each Sunday morning and offering prayer support during and following worship services. Through intentional prayer, preparation, and personal ministry, the team helps create an environment that is centered on Christ, dependent upon God, and attentive to the spiritual needs of the church family.
