For Such a Time as this

We are asking each member to prayerfully consider partnering with us in becoming debt free. After taking time to pray and seek the Lord and His guidance, we are asking you to make a "soft commitment". Soft commitment sounds like an oxymoron, and we agree. Let us explain. We believe, biblically, that when a commitment is made, one should fully honor that commitment. In light of that, we would never want to put you in position where you would find yourself being disobedient. Neither of us know what journey the Lord may take you in relation to your personal finances. While we desire to get out of debt, you are more important. If you find yourself in financial stress, you are free to turn your focus to those needs over this soft commitment. In order for us to see progress, we are asking for a "Soft Commitment" from you. After seeking the Lord, please select an amount that you could give that is above and beyond your normal tithe. This gift can be given as a one time donation or spread out over this next 12 months. When submitting these gifts, please specify "For Such a Time as This" on your offering envelope.
